Pro-Sight Property Inspections® Home Inspection Reporting Service – The online home inspection reporting service is extremely easy to operate, and the report created is extremely reader friendly. The report is a combination checklist and narrative, or narrative only, with photos. These types of reports are the most concise, and the easiest for your client, as well as the realtor to read.

First, if you are not adept at typing quickly, then you will love the fact the program has a pre-populated ‘library’. Commonly found item descriptions, and phrases pertaining to marginal items, or items in need of repair or replacement are already in the software. You may add to this pre-populated library as you wish. Just click the description or phrase, and it becomes part of the report.

There are two summary sections, these sections separate comments (general information & marginal items) from issues (deficiencies & safety hazards). These two sections will feed automatically into the inspection report. The inspection report, along with the inspection agreement (1st section of the report, right after the cover page) was designed to be thorough and concise, and coincide with the natural flow of the home inspection process.

No Internet Access- No Problem. PDA (palm held mini-computer) – To increase your speed in generating your home inspection report, there is the optional PDA version. The use of the PDA gives you the ability to enter the home inspection information directly into the PDA as you actually conduct the inspection. Then, when you are finished with the home inspection, just upload the information to the Internet via your laptop or desktop, upload your photos, and finish any necessary typing, and your done.

You have the option of delivering the home inspection report in different ways. Since the report is generated in an html format, and as an Adobe PDF document, you can easily e-mail a link, or post it to the ProSight website. The great thing about PDF documents versus html they look exactly the same on everyone’s computer, that’s the miracle of a PDF document.
